Prokon is looking for a portfolio manager (m/f/d) for our energy trading team at our headquarters in Itzehoe as well as at our other locations in Potsdam and Mainz, and additionally in Freiburg.

In addition to electricity, you will also trade in guarantees of origin
You will be responsible for managing our electricity portfolio
You will negotiate PPA contracts and integrate our own electricity generation
You monitor and analyse the development of the European energy markets and derive recommendations for action
You further develop our procurement strategy
You will be involved in the negotiation and contract review of energy framework agreements (e.g. EFET) or negotiate these independently with our trading partners if required
You will help to set up a virtual power plant
You provide cross-departmental support in the development of new sales products You are the interface to our Sales department and colleagues in Controlling
You have a university degree in economics or a comparable degree
You have over two years of professional experience in portfolio management
You can communicate complex issues to different target groups in an understandable way
You have a keen interest in sales and procurement processes
You have a high affinity for numbers and strong analytical and conceptual skills You are a team player through and through and love working with others to achieve common goals.
