Our team in the area of project development and construction is responsible for the entire process of planning solar photovoltaic systems from acquisition to the start of the PV system's construction. While the focus is regionally on the new federal states, Prokon eG also develops solar photovoltaic systems beyond this area.

From one of our project offices in Mainz, Potsdam, Itzehoe, or your home office, you will acquire and develop new sites for solar parks in Germany.
Your primary focus will be on independently developing new sites as well as managing external project development partners.
You will take on full project responsibility, from site acquisition to obtaining construction readiness, always keeping the economic viability and legal requirements of the projects in mind.
You will establish initial contact with potential partners and independently conduct all necessary discussions and negotiations with internal and external stakeholders essential to the development and success of your projects.
The role involves business travel to the planning regions. You will present projects at various planning stages to a wide range of decision-makers.
As part of an experienced team, you will independently develop the projects up to construction readiness.
You have experience in the development of large-scale photovoltaic systems or other renewable energy projects and ideally hold a relevant degree (e.g., Industrial Engineering, Renewable Energy Management, Geography, Urban and Regional Planning, Landscape Planning, or a comparable field of study).
However, your experience in project development is more important to us than your academic background.
Proficiency in using standard Office software packages is also required.
You are characterized by strong communication skills, negotiation abilities, and assertiveness, and you work independently and in a goal-oriented manner.
You can maintain an overview even with a large number of projects.
You hold a Class B driving license and are willing to undertake business travel.
