Every electricity contract has a specific duration, often ranging between one month and one year. If you are considering switching to Prokon, first take a look at your current contract to determine when you can cancel. If you wish to switch to us, simply inform us of the date you want to make the change and whether you opt for a one-year contract or a flexible tariff with the option of monthly cancellation. No need to worry about terminating your old contract – we will take care of it for you. You just need to note your electricity consumption on the day of the switch, so your previous provider can send you a final bill, which can now also be done online. Switching to Prokon as your electricity provider will only take about five minutes of your time.
We at Prokon do everything possible to make the switching process as fast and smooth as possible. Generally, this takes between two and six weeks. This timeframe allows us to carefully go through all necessary steps to ensure a seamless transition. The process includes terminating your current contract and setting up your new contract with Prokon.
Once you have decided to switch, we will handle the termination of your old electricity contract. Just let us know from when you want to start receiving our electricity, and we will take care of the rest - including communicating with your current provider.
