Careful wind turbine maintenance is the key to high turbine availability. We deliberately work independently of manufacturers in maintenance and service and look after our wind farms and those of our customers from nine service centres throughout Germany. This enables our qualified service teams to react quickly to faults and ensure high availability.
With around 30 years of experience in maintenance and servicing of wind turbines from all major manufacturers, we possess a level of expertise that is unrivalled in the industry.

Additional benefits for your contract
Thanks to our comprehensive remote monitoring, quick repair interventions and efficient scheduling, our customers' wind farms deliver an above-average performance. This means you benefit from maximum reliability and efficiency of your wind turbines.
Our maintenance contracts offer various options, from a basic contract to a full maintenance contract. Depending on the contract, additional services such as operating materials testing (expertise), DGUV V3, pressure accumulator tests and many other tests can be optionally integrated. Additionally, we offer a wide range of additional services, from blade inspection or repair to major component replacement.
Many service hubs with tool stores, spare parts depots, and on-site technicians located throughout Germany contribute to a fast and efficient performance in the park. These services form the foundation of our maintenance contracts and are already included in the base contract. The extensive stock within the Prokon group, with over 25,000 spare parts for more than 70 different types of wind turbines, ensures that the appropriate component is always in stock.

That cannot be answered generally. We carry out maintenance in accordance with the manufacturer's specifications, which vary depending on the manufacturer. The duration also depends on the type of system, the system's output, and the type of maintenance. Therefore, the maintenance duration varies between approximately one and four days.
Usually twice a year – one half-yearly and one annual maintenance. Additionally, we offer separate lubrication or quarterly maintenance, which can also be carried out.
A service hub is a location where our service technicians are stationed. It also includes a storage area for materials and tools. Our hubs are generally located near our wind farms. If needed, we establish new hubs – possibly near you as well.
