The vast supply within the Prokon Group of approximately 25,500 spare parts for over 70 different types of wind turbines ensures that the appropriate component is always in stock. In case of further material needs, our procurement department ensures seamless availability of spare parts. Through our express shipping, spare parts reach the wind turbine in a very short time and can be installed.

In addition to the basic supply of consumables and spare parts at our bases, we operate a large spare parts warehouse at the headquarters of our parent company Prokon eG in Itzehoe. This ensures a prompt material supply and minimizes downtime of wind turbines. Furthermore, we have a workshop here for repairing large components and a warehouse where we stock major parts such as gears, generators, and transformers. This increases our independence from service providers and manufacturers and has a positive impact on costs.
Sustainability is ingrained in our DNA: where possible, we repair components instead of replacing them. This is not only more sustainable but also cost-effective. In our own electrical laboratory, we also repair components for older turbine types for which spare parts are no longer available. Furthermore, we manufacture spare parts for major components to replace worn or damaged original parts and ensure the operational ability of the wind turbines.
Currently, there are over 25,000 parts – and the number is rising. Approximately 85 parts are added each month, being recorded in Itzehoe for the first time. You can find more information here.
