10 years on the board: Dr Henning von Stechow has shaped the development of Prokon eG
Dr Henning von Stechow has been a member of the Management Board of Prokon Regenerative Energien eG for ten years and has been at its helm since 2021. Since joining on 1 April 2016, he has played a key role in shaping the development of the energy cooperative – from its reorganisation as a community energy company to its current position as a financially stable, growth-oriented business in the renewable energy sector.
During this period, Prokon has consistently developed its business model further, significantly expanded generation capacity in the renewable energy sector and opened up new fields of business. With more than 41,000 members now, the cooperative is one of the major independent players in the energy transition in Germany.
The development of recent years has likewise been marked by profound changes in the energy market. Prokon has actively accompanied this change and has continuously evolved. The long-standing continuity on the Management Board stands for reliable and strategic corporate development across different market phases.
