Prokon eG has successfully sold the Langwieden and Blumberg wind farms to Windauf eG. Windauf paid the purchase price using newly raised cooperative capital as well as existing liquid funds.

Windpark Langwieden
This outcome is a clear sign of confidence in cooperative participation models in wind energy and in the shared path of Windauf and Prokon. The members are thereby making a significant contribution to the strategic development of our projects.
For Prokon, the sale of the parks to Windauf is a strategic move that combines economic advancement with cooperative participation. By selling individual existing installations, Prokon gains additional financial leeway to swiftly realise new wind energy projects and further expand its own project pipeline.
At the same time, the installations remain within the cooperative environment: Windauf stands for a long-term perspective in the hands of its members and thus meaningfully complements the Prokon model. Operations and quality standards continue to follow the established Prokon structures.
With this model, Prokon strengthens its growth strategy while also creating new opportunities for participation in specific wind energy installations, thereby contributing to the successful implementation of the energy transition.
