We have been active in the field of renewable energies since 1995 and, with nearly 40,000 members, we are one of the largest energy cooperatives in Germany. The development, planning, and realization of wind farms, as well as the subsequent technical and commercial management of the park companies, are among our core competencies, as is energy trading and supplying household customers with electricity. At Prokon, the employees of the Service & Operation of Wind Turbines department ensure an availability of our wind turbines of over 97% with their extensive expertise, years of experience, and enthusiasm for their tasks.

Troubleshooting on wind turbines
Repair / replacement of gearboxes, bearings, generators and transformers on the wind turbine
Repair / replacement of control systems, motors, switching elements and sensors
Willingness to work temporary emergency and on-call duty, including weekends and public holidays
Willingness to travel on weekdays in the immediate vicinity and, if necessary, throughout Germany
You have successfully completed an electrical engineering apprenticeship
Are you an electrician or mechanic? Career changers are also welcome!
Professional experience in the field of wind energy is desirable, but not a prerequisite
Experience in working with medium-voltage grids is desirable but not a prerequisite
An independent, conscientious and systematic way of working together with your team partner is a matter of course for you
You are resilient, able to work at heights and physically fit
It is helpful to be able to use the usual Office programmes and we require you to have a class B driving licence
