Solar Farm Walshausen
Prokon eG has successfully completed the construction of its first photovoltaic ground-mounted project in Rhineland-Palatinate: the Walshausen Solar farm. A high-performance ground-mounted system with around 8 MWp was installed on an area of ten hectares. The project is complemented by a battery storage system with a capacity of 2.2 megawatt-hours and a power output of approximately 2 MW. With this project, Prokon expands its portfolio and underscores its commitment to a sustainable energy future.
