Solar Farm Walshausen

Prokon eG has successfully completed the construction of its first ground-mounted photovoltaic project in Rhineland-Palatinate: the Walshausen solar park. A high-performance open-space installation with an output of 8.5 MWp was built on an area of ten hectares, generating around 9.3 million kilowatt-hours of green electricity per year. The project is complemented by a battery storage system with a capacity of 2.2 megawatt hours and an output of around 2.4 MW. With this project, Prokon is expanding its portfolio and underlining its commitment to a sustainable energy future.
