This is how Prokon celebrates its double anniversary
One day after the general assembly, the cooperative welcomes all members and guests to the big event in Itzehoe.
On 24 May, Prokon will launch its anniversary year at the Itzehoe Week with its own event: “Wind & Values – the Prokon Market”. From 12 noon to 6 pm, the energy cooperative will present itself together with other sustainable and innovative companies in the city centre of Itzehoe. Starting at 11 am, a live stream from the stage will offer a first glimpse into our celebratory reception at the Old Town Hall. There, together with invited guests, we will take a look back at Prokon’s history and look ahead to the future of renewables.
So, if you have time and feel like making a short trip to the town on the River Stör , you are warmly invited to join the celebrations!
Tip: From 4 pm, visitors can then head over to the grand wine festival.

In the morning, we will celebrate our double anniversary with a festive reception at the Old Town Hall in Itzehoe under the motto: "Together at Full Power". We will reflect on Prokon's development so far and, most importantly, look ahead to the future of renewable energies.
The anniversary reception is a closed event for invited guests with a personal invitation. However, everyone interested can still take part: We will be livestreaming the entire reception from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm – both on the LED screen of our stage on the market square and here on this website.

Zwei inspirierende Keynotes:
- Thomas Jorberg – ehemaliger Vorstandssprecher der GLS Bank, heute u. a. im Aufsichtsrat der EWS Schönau und der Naturkosmetikmarke WELEDA. Er steht für eine glaubwürdige Verbindung von Wirtschaft und Nachhaltigkeit.
- Johanna Kühner – Mitgründerin der SuperCoop Berlin eG und Initiatorin von #GenoDigital. Sie engagiert sich für eine solidarische, digitale Genossenschaftsbewegung – offen, vernetzt und zukunftsfähig.

Süddeutsches Flair im hohen Norden: Das traditionelle Weinfest gehört zu den Höhepunkten der Itzehoer Woche. Tausende Menschen aus der gesamten Region zieht es zum geselligen Beisammensein im Stadtzentrum. Das Weinfest findet am 24. Mai von 16 bis 24 Uhr statt. Wer mag kann hier somit direkt im Anschluss an einen Besuch der Prokon-Veranstaltung den Abend ausklingen lassen.
