Annual financial statements of the co-operative: stable result despite market pressure
The cooperative achieved an annual surplus of €8.6 million in the 2024 financial year. Despite falling electricity prices, below-average wind yields, and lower project revenues, the annual result exceeded expectations. Contributing positively were, among other things, higher other operating income and lower expenses.
The members approved a profit distribution of approximately €7.7 million – this corresponds to a dividend of 3.16% on the business credit. As of 31 December 2024, the cooperative had 40,811 members.
The strategic course was also maintained: in 2024, permits under the Federal Immission Control Act (BImSchG) were obtained for wind energy projects with a total capacity of around 130 MW. The Friedersdorf wind farm (Brandenburg, see image) was fully constructed and commissioned at the beginning of 2025 with a capacity of 22 MW.
