Purpose of the Campaign
Committed members of Prokon eG (hereinafter referred to as “the Referrer”) inspire friends, neighbors, colleagues, relatives, family members or other individuals (hereinafter referred to as “the Referred”) to become members of one of Europe’s largest energy cooperatives.
Responsibility of the Referrer
The Referrer confirms that the person they are recommending has given their general consent to receive the referral message and does not feel harassed by participation in the “Members Refer Members” campaign.

Conditions for Reward Payment
At the time the referral is sent and when the membership application is received, the Referrer must be a legal adult and an active member of Prokon eG.
The Referrer must provide their Prokon membership number and their full first and last name to verify eligibility.
The Referrer is acting in a private capacity, not for commercial purposes.
The referral must be made exclusively by sending the individually generated referral link from the website www.prokon.energy to the Referred person.
For underage applicants, the consent of their legal representatives (guardians) is mandatory within the online application process. In addition, appropriate proof of legal guardianship (e.g., a copy of the birth certificate or custody document) must be submitted to Prokon eG, including the first and last name of the underage applicant. Membership will only be granted once the documentation has been received and verified.
The Referred person must complete the membership application using the online form accessed via the individual referral link.
The personal referral link is valid for 60 days from the date of creation. After this period, eligibility for a reward automatically expires.
The Referred must not be a member of Prokon eG at the time of referral or membership application, nor may they have already submitted a membership application.
A reward (for the Referrer, the Referred, or both) is only granted if the Referred is a new member of Prokon eG and new capital is invested in the cooperative through the subscribed shares. Partial or full share transfers between members or to new members, as well as transfers due to inheritance, are not considered referrals and do not qualify for a reward.
The membership of the Referred person only becomes effective upon formal approval by the Board of Prokon eG.
The shares subscribed by the new member must be fully paid in accordance with legal and statutory requirements.
The reward will be paid out once all conditions listed above have been met and a valid bank account (IBAN) has been provided by the designated reward recipient(s) (Referrer, Referred, or both).
Reward Payment Information
The amount of the reward paid out as part of the “Members Refer Members” campaign depends on the number of cooperative shares subscribed to by the new member at Prokon eG.
The minimum investment is one share totalling EUR 50.

The reward cannot be combined with other reward programs or promotions. It is paid exclusively via bank transfer. Cash payment or any form of compensation or offsetting is not possible.
If a person is referred by multiple individuals, only the first submitted membership application will be eligible for the reward.
Additional Provisions
Participation in the “Members Refer Members” campaign is voluntary. Legal recourse is excluded. Prokon eG reserves the right to modify or terminate the campaign at any time without providing reasons. By participating in the campaign, both Referrers and Referred persons accept these terms and conditions.
The act of referring a new member does not constitute a brokerage, employment, commercial agency, commission-based, or any other legal relationship beyond participation in the referral program between the Referrer and Prokon eG. In particular, the Referrer is not authorized to make or receive legally binding declarations on behalf of or for the account of Prokon eG.
Prokon eG reserves the right to demand repayment of the reward or compensation for damages in the event that the reward was obtained unlawfully.
