Transfer Cooperative Shares
With the transfer of your cooperative share capital, for example to children, grandchildren or friends, you can pass on your commitment to the energy transition to the next generation – without having to cancel your membership. This means the business shares remain within the cooperative and continue to support the expansion of renewable energies.

Two simple ways to transfer your cooperative shares
As a member, you can transfer your cooperative shares to another person at any time by means of an agreement, provided that person is already a member of Prokon or becomes a member. This allows you to easily end your membership or reduce your shares.
Total Transfer
With a full transfer, you assign your entire cooperative share to one or more persons. This ends your membership without any separate notice of termination and therefore without observing a notice period.
Partial Transfer
In a partial transfer, you pass on part of your cooperative share to one or more people and remain a Prokon member. This means that both you and the recipients benefit from our benefits for members, and you can take part in the life of the cooperative together.

Approval by the board
The transfer of your cooperative shares becomes effective as soon as the Management Board approves the admission of your nominated beneficiary’s membership in Prokon eG or the transfer of further cooperative shares to them. In the case of a transfer of all your shares, your membership shall thereby end.
